ABOUT DJ QU:
Ramon Lisandro Quezada – aka DJ Qu – first came to international prominence with his offering on the seminal “Expressway EP ” on TS records (2006).
His Strength music imprint was launched in 2005 and continues to garner interest from record buyers, DJ’s and press alike . His “Rainy Daze” track remains one of the highlights on the highly collectable Unity Kolabo double compilation, on Jus Ed’s “Underground Quality” label .
DJ Qu’s djing talent goes beyond his recent profile as a producer. Famous in New York & beyond for his outstanding DJ sets and especially for his residency at New York institution HouseDanceConference. New York club & dance experience has become an institution for attracting the best dancers in New York, and the most spiritually uplifting music since its inception in 1999.
Dj Qu & P Funk were commissioned by Nike to compose the music for a work out dvd , titled “Rockstar Workout ” .
DJ Qu is gaining favour as a DJ of note; already having played prominent clubs such as Fabric in London, Tape Club in Berlin and others.

A.Arias
A. Arias is currently best known as the force behind the Thule Musik revival label Strobelight Network, which rescued the excellent trove of Icelandic house and techno released by that crew from obscurity at a well-chosen moment to critical acclaim this year. Arias is a furious digger for lost gems of 1990s and early 2000s techno and house, and his collaboration with the Thule artists has revived their careers as well as moved his forwards much more strongly than before. Booked personally by Dj’s like Mike Huckaby for his house sets, and booked by Terrence Dixon for the Minimal Detroit new years party for his techno sound, also playing NYC venues like Output, Bossa Nova Civic Club and many warehouse/ loft events, It will be his debut at our French Kiss party, and past experience tells us the 25 New Yorker will know exactly what to do when he steps into the dj booth.

Man Power (Correspondant/Hivern Discs/Throne of Blood)
Who is Man Power? An elusive figure who seems to have appeared from nowhere, he has created some hype-worthy mixes for the likes of Test Pressing and The Ran$om Note, as well as stunning original productions and remixes for labels such as Correspondant, Hivern, Eskimo, and Is It Balearic. Watch out for upcoming releases and remixes including an EP for Brooklyn’s Throne of Blood and a full length on Correspondant.
Based “somewhere in Europe,” Man Power’s sound has been described as “brooding and layered with pathos, but with a strong and ever-present underpinning of dancefloor grooves, a notable sense of humour, [and] a touch of nostalgia.”

James Friedman (Throne of Blood)
James Friedman has been a longtime fixture in New York’s underground dance music scene. As a journalist, DJ, promoter, label head, and music supervisor, he has championed emergent sounds and artists like few others in North America. Since starting Throne of Blood Records with members of The Rapture in 2006, Mr. Friedman has cultivated a diverse crew of producers, from phenomenons like Bicep and Daniel Avery to rising talents like Cosmic Kids and Populette to established players like Mugwump, Paul Woolford, and DJ Chloe. Obsessive and all-over-the-map, Friedman’s sets veer from classics to left field oddities without ever straying far from the dance floor.
