October is the official month of zombies, werewolves, and the gloomiest of the undead, vampires, so we’ve decided to take this occasion to celebrate a landmark work of cinema, THE LOST BOYS, a film featuring vampires, bikers, comic book collectors, women named after geometric shapes, shirtless saxophonists, and seminal post-punk bands covering the Doors.
So yeah, given all of that, we’ll be dancing to songs of the era (1987) all night, plus all of the music you know and love form a typical Feeling Gloomy, and maybe a little extra bit of spooky gloom since it is October. We’ve got a great deal planned, so read onward (if you dare)….
DRINK SPECIALS
-the Grand Victory’s bar staff is helping us to concoct special beverages like Grandpa’s Aftershave (it’s not Windex, but it may be blue) and vampire blood. Drink at your own risk-
YOU’RE EATING WORMS, MICHAEL
-We’re going to be decorating the bar full of tips of the hat to the film. We swear, though, they’re just noodles Michael-
MOVIE PROJECTION
-We’ll show the Lost Boys on the bar’s projector, but it might be hard to watching on top of all the dancers once the floor gets going-
DEATH BY STEREO
