Unsourced is back at Cameo Gallery on Friday July 10!
Leading this compelling lineup of New York & Boston-based house & techno acts is KD Music’s secret weapon George Vala, whose meticulously crafted tropical dub tech heaters are supported by the likes of Stacey Pullen, Matthias Tanzmann, Marco Carola, Booka Shade, Steve Lawler & Joseph Capriati and decorate the catalogues of Suara, Roush, Terminal M, Zoo:Technique, Upon You & more, while his valors as a DJ have been testified at top venues like Verboten, Sankey’s, Rise and Bijou.
George is joined by Unsourced founder Eelrack, whose latest moves include completing a remix for Audiophile Deep alongside Gene Farris, receiving unprompted promotional support from Damian Lazarus on his latest original, headlining Monarch SF, and slamming a crowd of thousands at EDC LV on the Carl Cox & Loco Dice Present stage. Eelrack’s sets run the gamut from bouncy and funky to gritty and deep but never stray far from a shared yet unnamable common denominator.
Balancing out the night with a more sensual vibe, lovers and collaboratorsTanja & Mikhail Misha Pruidze will bring us a fluid array of kaleidoscopic soundscapes, expressions of their love of freedom and of each other, a style tried and tested at their many recent shows at Verboten, Good Room, TBA Brooklyn, Paper Box, Lot 45, Governor’s Island, I Feel, and their own weekly, For the Fools.
And finally, an advocate of tropical deep tech house who has shared the stage with Claude VonStroke, Justin Martin, Thomas Jack & more, Boston’sJAMINIC is sure to set the mood just right, taking cues from his experience performing at many of the Northeast’s best underground clubs while learning a thing or two from the top-shelf acts he books at 49 Social and Prime Nightclub.
Don’t forget to mark your calendars for this unique night celebrating the uncanny ability of house and techno rhythms to bring us closer to an understanding of where we come from and where we’re going, all while basking in the magic of each other’s company ♥ ♥ ♥
