We’re back to a normal two-day weekend but there’s no shortage of great parties as this month rolls on. This weekend will see Detroit legend Juan Atkins opening of new Bushwick venue Down, and later in September there’s everything from a DJ set by Genesis Breyer P-Orridge of Throbbing Gristle(?!), a star-studded season-closing night for Balearic bash Air a Danser, the final edition of indiepop dance party Mondo (sadly), as well as appearances by two of our favorite out of town DJs, DJ Harvey from L.A. and JD Twitch from Glasgow.
We generally just pick our favorite 2-3 parties per night to list in the newsletter, but we always list way more on the website. If you don’t immediately see something that catches your fancy, be sure to check our full listings on the web.
