XX Infinity (Bruno Be remix)

It took Bruno Be’s touch for me to really take in the wonderful Infinity by XX. I liked the song back in 2009 when XX’s self-titled album was first released, but Bruno Be’s housey hand truly pointed me in the right direction.

The track traces the confusion of that kind of love that, as a friend said, “makes you act like an asshole- we all have one.” Cloaked in reverb, blink and instantly find yourself in a post-modern Wicked Game. I could do without the heavy four-on-the-floor kicks, but it’s still worth a listen—especially on a rough night.
